Job Title: Marketing Strategist
The Role:
The jobholder oversees all marketing activities of the company ensuring that the marketing function effectively supports and delivers on Oman Sail’s business and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities Areas:
• Create, deliver and continually update a marketing plan and strategy for Oman Sail’s events, sponsorship obligations and commercial services to ensure that objectives and targets are met.
• Develop and manage the marketing budget
• Ensure systems and processes are in place to optimize marketing activities for all stakeholders
• Identify market/customer opportunities, execute against an approved positioning strategy and develop supporting programs for the strategic initiatives
• Play the leading role in developing promotional concepts and programs that are focused on supporting Oman Sail’s business objectives
• Monitor and evaluate markets and client intelligence and develop appropriate strategies to optimize potential opportunities
• Collaborate with other heads of department and any external marketing/advertising and media buying partners
• Manage vendor/dealer quality assurance
• Execute the company marketing strategies in line with resource, budget and business objectives.
• Understand and research the markets in which Oman Sail operates in
